Will bold text work on Instagram and X?

Yes — these are real Unicode characters, so they render anywhere Unicode is supported, including social bios and posts.

Is this an actual font?

No. It swaps each letter for a different Unicode character that looks bold. That is why it survives copy-paste where a normal bold style would not.

Why do some characters stay normal?
